A New Threat to Bees Worldwide

A new study published in the Nature journal Scientific Reports studied a new virus named Moku.  This virus is carries by a wasp and could bring the virus to honey bees.  These bees are important to our food systems because they pollinate crops.   How would the ecology of our World change if viruses begin to invade the pollinators?
I think this article is interesting because we always hear about viruses invading and killing humans but not always other species.  It would be really bad if the pollinators were killed off because it would change the amount of food crops we could produce and effect humans in a negative way.  It will be interesting how scientist try to handle this dilemma going forward.
