Authorities said that a man suspected for shooting a sheriff in California twice in the head was arrested shortly after he tried to steal a woman's purse. Stanislaus County Sheriff's Deputy Dennis Wallace was shot when he was checking on a suspicious van near a fishing access report.

This is a very sad thing to hear especially after all the shootings of police officers and other authorities in the past. This as we know happened in Dallas over the summer and was very heartbreaking for us as a city. I don't know why people continue to shoot people who are just trying to help us and it is very upsetting to read about.
