The authorities have officially stated that there are no plans to "forcibly remove" protesters among Standing Rock. However they sad that anyone who stayed on the land would be unauthorized and they could get citations.( The pictures show police shooting protesters with rubber bullets). The protesters are there because the Dakota Access Pipeline poses a threat to their water and sacred Native American sites. The permit that they need to tunnel underneath the lake was postponed, and police have begun using water hoses in freeing weather to try and chase away protesters.

Okay really? First of all this article provided pictures which were helpful and it was fairly unbiased. Secondly, REALLYYY???? Haven't they taken enough of their land already, sorry but can't they just give them this ONE gosh darn lake?
