Killing a skunk can get you arrested?!
Sure a skunk problem in Illinois could easily be solved with some prison or a gun, but in the city, that's not the case.

He claimed that in his sorority house he's been having skunk problems, the police charged him with animal cruelty.
Him and his friends said they were playing basketball bal when they saw a skunk and beat it with a shovel, injured and limping the skunk walked and they found them themselves in the city.
I think that anywhere killing an animal for no reason should be illegal but there may be cases where it's self defense but it seems the animal was just minding its own business.

Why did the skunk have to have such a brutal death? Why did the skunk have to be killed in the first place? If it's that much of an issue, call animal control where they can remove the animal from the premises without harming it. Animal abuse is not a joke and they way they reacted to the skunk is heartbreaking.
