New technology in Finland allows for self-driving busses. The bus was driving and when a car pulled in front of it it slowed down like a driver was braking. However it has no brakes or steering wheel but has sensors that detect objects. This new technology can be compared to advances ancient civilization made in their time to make things easier for them.

  1. Self driving busses pretty cool but what would happen if something goes wrong with the system

  2. Self driving busses! It's amazing what technology has come but I agree Dejuan what if the destination is wrong and the employment rate would go down because there aren't any job slots.

  3. This is actually really cool!!!! But I do not think that we should be using these just yet. What if something bad happened it didn't detect anything and didn't brake? That would be terrible. But maybe in a few years!

  4. Its amazing how much technology has improved since the 1900's. The only problem is that these cars cant think like humans can. Cars cant see an over all view of whats around them and make the best decisions based of of that. What if there is a dangerous driver on the road or even some debris that is large enough to do some damage ?

  5. It is exciting to learn about new technologies like self-driving cars that will improve our lives. I do hope that these new technologies do not damage the environment. Like, cars right now give off gas into the air.

  6. This sounds really cool but I fear that technology will someday get out of hand. This could still be a con but we should enjoy this technology while we can.

  7. This is very interesting! I'm just worried about technical difficulties that might appear with the cars.

  8. I love the idea of this, but when I take the bus everyday, I enjoy being able to have a conversation with the driver. Also, this takes jobs away from people, but it's still pretty cool.
