I'm a recent study, scientist may have found some truth to they saying "children age you". In the study, women gave blood samples and it was found that those who had given birth appeared genetically "older". Researchers look at the material in their cells, specifically telomeres. You can tell how old someone is by looking at the length of their telemores, the older the person is, the shorter the tail is. It was discovered that after childbirth the tail on ones telomores tends to shorten quicker.
This is relevant because, it's a new discovery about the human body. The world of medicine could be greatly impacted because of this discovery. Also, with this fact made known, it could affect how many people see child birth, therefore effecting birth rates.
