This Monday scientists reported in a possible cure of the Zika virus epidemic. The medicine is made to activate the antibodies to fight the virus. All though not fully tested on humans, the cure has already been tested successful on mice. It's not complete yet an takes a few days to actually kick in, but it's the first steps to getting rid of the affects of Zika.
This seems to be a great breakthrough. I'm quite happy to hear this as many people have feared that the children will be born deformed because of the Zika virus. Now that there's a cure for zika, that sort of perpetual fear of mosquitoes can leave our minds, especially in affected areas.
