Current Events: ISIS Suicide Bomber
On November 12th, fifty two people were killed at a religious shrine in remote mountains in Pakistan.  ISIS has taken the blame for this attack through its media platform, Amaq. About 500 people gathered to perform a Sufi ritual at the Shah Noorani shrine 120 miles outside of Karachi. So many people died because the location was very far away from any cities, so it was difficult for any sort of aid to get there quickly.

Every single week in the news you see more and more stories about how ISIS is terrorizing people. So many people have died from ISIS attacks and there isn’t much that can be done about it. Terrorism is a very scary thing to have to deal with, and I feel so bad for the people who have to deal with it firsthand. Children are having to grow up in fear, and they have to brace themselves even when they are just walking down the street. People shouldn’t have to live constantly fearing for their lives so I hope that one day world leaders will figure out a way to take ISIS down.

  1. I agree that terrorism is an issue we need to take control of worldwide. We need to try to reach out to those who have views that force them to do things that are violent and dangerous and try to find peace or come to an agreement.
