In 2014 a banker named Rurik Jutting killed, raped, and tortured two women. The case brought evidence of Jutting's iphone where he recorded before and after the killing while high on cocaine. Jutting plead not guilty to the murder charge but did plead guilty to manslaughter. He claims that psychological issues affected his judgement at the time to the killings. The jury returned a unanimous verdict. He will now serve a mandatory life sentences in jail.
I think he should serve life sentences in jail after what he did to those women. No person that does things to people like that should be able to walk around freely on this earth. His justification of blaming it on the drugs wasn't right. I don't think just him being on drugs was the reason behind what he did. His videos show his monster inside of him.http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/08/asia/rurik-jutting-murder-hong-kong/index.html
Wow that's very sad
ReplyDeleteWow that's pretty deep. High or not you killed 2 women and think you aren't the blame. That's pitiful.
ReplyDeleteI agree completely high or not first of all you should be able to control yourself enough to not kill and you can't blame yourself being high because you are the one who made the decision to do it and whatever you did while in that state should still be punished.
ReplyDeleteThis is awful and I cannot believe he blamed it on the drugs to save himself. The fact that he does drugs proves that he needs help and he 100% deserves this punishment for all the harm he has done.
ReplyDeleteThe use of drugs should make the crime even worse because obviously taking the drug in general is going to mess with your judgement. Also it is so sad what happened to those two women because people cannot control themselves in the presence of drugs today.
ReplyDeleteHow can you use something illegal [drugs] as an excuse for doing more illegal activity? It doesn't make sense. I'm glad he is behind bars so he can't hurt anyone else.
